Throughout the years, I’ve had the distinct honor of capturing big moments in life: engagements, weddings, new babies on the way, and celebrations of self. My absolute favorite sessions are Love Yourself Sessions, spicy and focused on wonderful, amazing YOU (or you and your partner), and the sweetest of love stories—especially queer love stories, though all are welcome in front of my camera. Whether we are heading to my studio or to a destination shoot, I look forward to capturing YOUR big moments.
About the studio
The 600 square foot studio is located on Warwick Boulevard, in a 105 year old building, in the heart of Newport News’ Historic Hilton Village. The entrance can be found under the awning between Amber + Slate and Trophy World, upstairs, and on the left. Parking is available along the street and behind the Peninsula Community Theater building. After your session, feel free to walk up and down the strip for shopping and to grab some local coffee!

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Carla!! I had the Absolute best time ever!! My friend recommended I do a shoot. I wasn't Entirely sure because I am not extremely confident in my body. I thought “why would I do this if I don’t LOVE LOVE my body right now. It was the BEST decision ever!! This made me fall in love with myself again!!
